Flamingo | Unruly Podcast

Born from a desire to support women by informing them, Unruly unpacks the quiet ways women’s bodies are commodified, defined, and regulated. The podcast is hosted by author, curator, and critic Kimberly Drew, created by myself, and produced by Pineapple Street Studios. Unruly was featured on Apple Podcasts’ esteemed “New & Noteworthy” chart for over four weeks. Guests include NYT journalist Susan Dominus, Olympian Raven Saunders, and culture critic Jessica DeFino. Flamingo | Pubic Care Regimen Launch

For the launch of Flamingo’s Pubic Care Regimen trio, creators were encouraged not to “Beat Around the Bush” and to share real stories from their personal experiences. The campaign generated over 18M impressions and 30 pieces of content. It kicked off with one of Hannah Berner’s much-loved on-the-street interviews and included posts from Eli Rallo, Chelsea Vaughn, and Syd Wingold.

Flamingo | The Tweeze

Flamingo’s brand newsletter, “The Tweeze,” launched in May 2024 in response to the growing popularity of Substack subscriptions amongst the brand’s key audience. The first issue was co-authored with tastemaker and former Beauty Director of Cosmopolitan, Carly Cardellino. Carly also created an accompanying Instagram Reel.

To fulfill Flamingo’s brand promise to champion women, their bodies, and their choices, the brand created a video series featuring interviews with Girls on the Run participants at their end-of-season 5K run. This interview series’ engagement rate outperformed other social impact content by 35%.

Social media came to be because of behind-the-scenes content, so Headquarters wanted to focus on the realities of life on set: glamorous at times, bizarre always. This content was some of the top-performing on the Headquarters account, generating over 2M views when the account had less than 1,500 followers.
